CHINA - Longmen Grottoes

"The grottoes and niches of Longmen contain the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907). These works, entirely devoted to the Buddhist religion, represent the high point of Chinese stone carving." -http://whc.unesco.org

Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang City houses over 2,100 Buddhist niches,
more than 100,000 sculptures, about 3,600 inscriptions and 40 Buddhist pagodas.

Thank you so much Jun for this wonderful postcard! =)
And I so much like the stamps!
